The FC-H Smart Phone Detection Gate uses electromagnetic wave signal detection technology to detect phones while excluding everyday items such as belt buckles, glasses, pens, and pencil cases. It can detect whether a person is carrying a mobile phone, laptop, iPad, camera, or other electronic product that is powered on or off (including when the battery or SIM card has been removed). It can also trigger a location-based audible and visual alarm and display the alarm location. The gate can also trigger an alarm if the phone is wrapped in five layers of copper foil. It can be used in important scenarios such as schools and secure locations.
